One breath-taking way to change your state in an instant

What's your state right now? If you’re asking, 'State? What even is that?' Here's a heads up: Your state is the place you're operating from. Your state conditions how you feel, react, and decide, so let's make it a fine one. Let's create a state that empowers you to ask for, orchestrate and claim all the success you deserve!

Same state, different triggers

So, here's the thing. Great or ghastly experiences trigger the same state of blindsiding, heart racing, head freezing anxiety. Land or lose your dream client, and impostor syndrome kicks in. Either you 'know' it'll never happen, or you 'knew' it couldn't last. So, what if you could put impostor syndrome back in its box in an instant?

What if you could step stylishly out of the thick of things and view everything awesome, awkward, or awful from a calm, clear perspective restoring distance?

You can.

So. Do. It. Right. Now.

Try this powerful practice for avoiding overwhelm, sidestepping self-sabotage, and staying on track:

Breathe. Sit quietly, breathe into the heart of how you're feeling. Lean into it. Absorb the heat that flows from excitement, fear, anger, or doubt – then release it. Now ask yourself, 'What can I see and feel differently?

So, what just happened? Huge congratulations! You've changed your state in an instant. You've taken an enormous, seriously stylish step towards reducing overwhelm and ridding yourself of reactions that don't serve you well. Success takes practise, so practice often. Breathe consciously and confidently into any state at any moment. Swap 'I'm overwhelmed' for 'I'm so up for this,' in life and business.
